Being fit for Christmas

I have only really just noticed this week that the silly season is definitely upon us. That’s even without Colorado weather madness. Hey it’s been really hot here this week on the other side of the world, BUT it wasn’t meant to be hot in Denver on Thanksgiving Day so near to Christmas.
So yes madness is upon us, the seasonal kind.
I see it in the kids at school and the steady stream of punters walking past my door into town to sample the madness of town and tinsel.
Everything in me today just wants to stay home and putz around, my muscles are sore and to be honest I am tired with that time of year tiredness. That end of the year worn down feeling, the one where you know you need a holiday.

BUT I know that I will feel better for having gone for a ride on my bike up to the dam, and at least doing something at the gym. AND so I shall.
Susan sent me some info on raw food today which paints a whole new relationship I can have with the dandelions on my lawn. I can eat them, or make dandelion pesto or a smoothie. LOL
Have a neat day after Thanksgiving Day. Stay thankful.

Look at the sky.
